hmmm..the blog is alive again ~ with more updates (i hope) hehe... Welcome back readers =) If you are still reading me...kekeke....Lemme do a brief updates on what happened after my last update!

Short recap for the passed 12months :-

June-Nov 09'-

before delivery is all about check-ups, browsing for warehouse sales

Nov 09'-

-admitted to hospital for 5D4N and end up delivering Travin via emergency C-Sec + epidural. My OB&G Dr Wong Sum Keong, the anesthetic & the nurses did a very good. They knew I was sad that I can't deliver Travin naturally and explained things to me in details. Calvin was busy & nervous in the ward. He was there to urmm.. see the baby out lah! Busy recording Travin while Dr. Wong cleaned me.

Nov 09' - Jan 10'

-my maternity leaves began and confinement food was all about ginger 20kg of them!

-still look like a giant elephant after given birth. HE HE HE

Dec 09' - Jan 10'

-we are blessed to have Travin with us during our birthdays

-felt phobia when i return to the hospital for my post-natal check-up

-back to work, missing Travin every single minute. But I go back to my parent's to see him everyday. Yeah, I only babysit him over the weekend.

Feb 10'

- My CNY was ruined due to some unexpected nonsense.

- No V'day this year

March 10'

- is all about time with Travin. I gotta admit he's a fast learner and a lil cheeky baby.

I realised baby really grow fast. He looked different as the months pass by. I'll never forget the moments of having him in my tummy (the kicking, the burping) and the intimate moment we had in the hospital.

Week 12 check up

Yippeee.... we are towards the end of 1st trimester. 1 thing which is not yippeee to me is feeling nausea + vomiting; not liking that feeling at all man.. Doctor told me it should stop in another 2weeks. I pray that it stop immediately~ cause its affecting my apetite :( Doctor said can eat many meals but in small portion. hmmm.. my Mc'd burger divide to 4? hahaha..

Anyway; yesterday check up was fun. Doctor wasn't there when I reached the clinic, so the nurse took urine test, weight (82kg now) and pressure. I've changed doctor and he is a very detail/caring person. After chatting with him for a while then he did the ultrasound for me. It was amazing to see our baby has grown so much. Mangkee not inside cause he was late to the clinic..teehee.. Baby is now 6.1cm about 2.x inches and is quite active I can say. Was moving around when doctor tried to scan and I was able to hear the heartbeat. hehe..Like horse galloping... Oooo yaa... I saw baby's tiny hands and legs too..sooo sooo cute.. I only can see baby thru ultrasound now..hehe normal day rub rub tummy lor..Sayang sayang mah.. Doctor said everything is normal. Phewww... and thank God the cyst is gone. Yeah, it was spotted during my 1st week.. Nope, cannot see gender yet. Maybe in another 1-2months time. Was given calsium and obimin tablets, will last me till 10/6/09...which is the next check up... :D

I've came to know about the poor dogs story in Pulau Ketam from Obnoxious 5xmom's blog and been reading the updates from TV Smith's blog.

Great job done by the rescue team and I pray that they will manage to save more dogs.

2nd check up~ counting down to the end of 1st trimester

Time really flies... We are almost at the end of 1st trimester... :D so far everything is smooth smooth & good good..only that I don't feel like taking rice..Mangkee is on standby mode even when he goes out cause I'll sms him for food. Err yeah.. I eat 4 meals/day hehe depends on my 3rd meal if too light then supper lor... my supper includes nasi lemak from Pudu, burger ayam from Klang (super yummy!), bread, roti....

My morning sickness is consider OK I guess. I vomitted once, I felt nausea mostly after lunch, sleepy, body ache, bloated, burping, my hands feel numb due to many hours playing DS.. haha! Yeah; the only thing I read is blogs, forums, online paper. See mana ada warehouse sales.. !! Need to align our budget mah..teehee! Oh yaya.. we've been to Pureen warehouse sales 2 weeks ago.. It was crazeeeeeEeeee.. It was my 1st time to warehouse sales. I told Mangkee aiyah don't need "kan cheong" leave the house by 930am .. Mana tau, we saw many cars parking by the road side way before the warehouse. *sweat* Things are very cheap.. we went to the clothing section 1st..grab some stuff then went to nappy sections.. Mangkee found a place to stand then I did the grabbing. Lucky we met a friendly staff who agrees to keep an eye on our things while we go for lunch. Then came back sit a while.. think what else to grab.. what wor.. I managed to grab a baby pants for RM1 ok :p... Ok lah.. we finally made it to the cashier , paid and ciowzz.. My opinion is if you're thinking to go to baby warehouse sales go early and also maybe before your tummy gets bigger. Susah mau jalan and the crowd aiyoyo....

Our 2nd check up was last week. This time I went alone. It's just ultrasound to see baby's heartbeat and size also consultation from the doctor.. 3 weeks more before the next check up~ Have a nice & long weekend will ya~ :D

*why the f*** are there so many baby roaches on my desk today*

Its been 2 months since I last updated the blog. This is all due to laziness; cannot cure liao ...hehe Redbabe cakap punya. psst Hcfoo: not because after kahwin no update lah.. even my life is a bit boring earlier.. hahahaah... So this page ah..only talk no picture lah..all my pictures are in the external hdd and I left it at home.

I've been to a few foodie-goodies places in Feb-March. Especially during Valentines day; we booked a room at Shang @ Putrajaya. They came out with V'day package, awesome deal and room was absolutely fabuloso.. Apart from the quiet and peacful environment ; Mangkee "pokai (fell down)" in the fabuloso toilet. How did that happened? Aiyah; Mangkee hyper active-lah; likes to play water so he slipped on the wet floor lah. The hotel staff was execelent; they came to our aid immediately after we buzz them for 1st aid kit. Then next day; reception staff said "oooh sir, it was you ah"... oh btw; the hotel food was errr Ok only. I still prefer Midori.

Apart from working - going home to catch some dvds then sleep; Yiippy yiippy! we will be expecting Travin Jr. in November. hehehe... Yeap yeap; we are now 7weeks preggers. I was an eating machine weeks ago. But not sure why the apetite has gone slow since last week. Maybe some other pregnancy sign will be coming next. Went for the 2nd check up last week and we saw + heard our baby's heartbeat. Very happy and exciting!!! :D Ok lah; I admit eating is eating; Mangkee also said I emo queen now. Like to pick up fight.. hahaha..cannot blame me mah right? Aiyah; even emo I still groom my dogs and clean my room lah.. But he is lucky lor; my 1st food craving was TOSAI-cheap cheap good good. hehe...tell you later what am craving for ya. Do share your pregnancy experience with me ya...

Tenji Buffet Restaurant

Senapang asked me to check out Precious Pea entry about Tenji. So I did ~ and make reservation for lunch on 3/1/09. We were there at 1230pm and the crowd is not as much as I expected. Ha! Ha! Maybe rainy days lah..people lazy to go out..

The entrance of the place is kinda cosy thou. 1st you find your name at the reservation list, checked and get your table number. The customer service will guide you to your place. We were seated at table number 99-100. Just right in front of the fondue and drinks bar. Hoorayyy....

The food iselection is not much compare to Jagoya. But for its worth for what we paid for RM49.90++. The oyster were fresh. Shasimi? Tak tau..I'm not a fan of it! Dim sum was steamy hot, lobster salad yummy, tenpayaki so-so, seafood soup not bad, tempura could have done better, udon not hot enough, fondue foodie goodie, coconut rocks.

Apart from coconut and fruit juices, they served fruit tea, green tea and kopi. They have assorted dessert and kickass flavours of Haagen-Daz ice cream. I like to move it! move it! Burping full! Great place to hang out with friends~

ahooo... Yes, me turned 27yrs old on 2/1/09 but celebration kicks off on 1/1 to 3/1! ahaha yeap yeap , means lotsa foodie goodie for me~ on the 1st of January, was a dinner with my parents and siblings at Restaurant Sai Kung, Kepong Baru. (no pics) The food was delicious and as I expected they started charging CNY pricing. We had "yee sang", steam fish, marmite pork ribs, asam fish, stir fried Hong Kong kai lan & roast chicken. Total billed was RM189 inclusive of rice and drinks. Head back to my parents home for cake cutting ceremony. cheh-wah, manyak grand macam..haha...Thanks to my dearest sis whom bought me a chocz. mud cake from Secret Recepi. BurpzZzzzzzz....

2/1/09/.. Thanks to YOU, YOU & YOU for the birthday wishes. YES, I worked on my birthday~ hello how to apply leave since it's the 1st working day of the year.. o off from office at 630pm. Picked MIL from home and headed to the SS15 (opposite SJMC).

While we walked to Rakuzen, this uncle of the next restaurant stopped us. He told us the chef of this restaurant is from Rakuzen as well as some of the staff. We were blur but the way he intro the place was interesting. So why not give it a try. haha... Oh yeah, I saw the guy at Rakuzen staring at the uncle ... what could he be saying? lolz... "shit, there goes my commission" OR "hoi, uncle mana boleh macam inih" ...lolz!

Was impressed with the restaurant.. Ooopss.. the name is Jyu Raku. Japanese Restaurant.. they have this leaflet introducing the place and free handroll until 31/1/09 [the stacks of leaflet are in front of the shop]. Its a 2 storey restaurant, we went upstairs. Have a choice of dining at their lovely Tatami or normal sitting. Behold are the slurpy pictures for your drooling purposes:-

Howdy Howdy.... so how you feeling on the last day of 2008? Happy? Sad? Drowsy? Party mood? Sexy? Horny? hahaha.. AND what have you done during the year of rat?

Lemme recap a lil' of what we've been doing in 2008:-

-Not much updating in this blog.

-Tried to eat less but failed..ha! ha!

-Been to many foodie-goodie places.

-Went to Bangkok with Senapang. Had fun eating, enjoyed the MRT ride, enjoyed being led straight-straight and also an eye-opening experience at the bars.

-Still swearing when I talked to some of my friends. e.g Freddie. Cannot talk normal..must add some @##%! and !)#@(!#$ when am chatting with him.

-Itchy butt, got ourselves into marriage plan. Planned for about 10-11months got married and now expired.

-Started baking butter cake and marble cake.

-Baked Almond crisp ..failure project! The cookie was thick ~ shall try again soon.

--Was invited by Deron to attend Sexy RedBabe wedding and Kluang. A memorable wedding and had a good experience being the emcee of the night.

-Itchy mouth argue with Mangkee then my ATM was eaten by the machine~ YES, it's like a curse, everytime after I sound him something stupid will happen to me. Who cares, I still wanna sound him! ha! ha! ha! Cannot blame me lah weh..after marriage, I tend to me more naggy~ no idea why. Perhaps you can tell me? :)

-Finally got the shoes I wanted at 30% off. Bought myself some nice clothes for new year.

-Changed my hairstyle.

-Attended weddings.

-Attended Christmas gathering.

-Mangkee started doing some small business.

-Addicted to Smallville at the moment. Ya, am slow.. Have yet to finish Season 3. :p

-Tried to shed some weight off for Cody but failed. He got fatter instead.

Guess, that's it of my lil' recap for 2008.

Not going anywhere for countdown ... hmm... maybe it's time to test some wine tonight!

It's the time of the year where Mangkee and Cody celebrated their birthday together. This year we did at home (Subang) with Mom & Dad around. As usual, I gotta chuck out $$$ to buy 2 cakes.. Biasalah, I asked Mangkee the same question every year.. Eh, you want to share cake with Cody or not? I was hoping he will ... you know lah , my pocket burned very kau this month. Mana-tau he said NO! So ok lo... buy 2 cakes! ish...

Fried Mee Hoon -kosong-

Wooot? Snake can cook too? haha..yes! surprise surprise.. I've been playing masak-masak for quite sometimes and only have time to blog about it now.

Thanks mom for the recepi! So here's how we cook it~

1) 5-6 pcs of garlic;
2) 3-4 pcs shallot;
4) 1 packet of mee hoon;
5) 2 tbsp dark soy sauce;
6) 2-3 tbsp soy sauce;
7) 1 teaspoon salt (own tasting);
8) 1/2 cup of plain water OR 1/2 cup of chicken cube soup;
9) 1 egg.

Cooking method:

1) chopped garlic and shallot. (see picture no. 2)

2) soaked mee hoon for about 15mins. Put it on a plate/bowl when times up.

3) while waiting for the mee hoon, beat the egg add a pinch of salt and dash pepper.
Heat the wok and fried until golden brown; dig up and slice it.

3) heat your wok and put some oil to fried the chopped garlic and shallot until it is golden brown.

4) add in the dark soy sauce, soy sauce; salt and water/chicken cube soup.

5) Add in the mee hoon when the sauce and stir fried with high fire;
cover it for about 3minutes with low fire; add in the egg and stir fried for 2minutes.

6) Dig IN AND EAT! Of cause serve on a plate lah...not on the wok ok!

Kin No Uma

Last Saturday, we were invited to join Senapang & Frank to check out Kin No Uma at Palace of the Golden Horses Hotel, Sri Kembangan. Its a Japanese restaurant serving buffet. WHY we choose to go? Ha! ha! Because there's a 40% off voucher.. So its about RM55/pax.

1st impression, waaaa so nice ah this hotel. Hello cannot blame me lah, its my 1st time to the hotel. Its beautiful..then we find our way to the restaurant. Called Senapang, he's sitting outside. OK lah no good, he made reservation few days before but his name was not in the list. Well who's fault is it? U tell me :)

Without wasting anytime Mangkee went to take food. I had a lot of tempura prawns cause its fresh and crunchy! YUMMY! I also tried out Sashimi for the 1st time, its good. The cooked food selection is not much and its not really tasty. Cannot grill own Yakitori :( The one they made was too cooked and dry. No shiock!

Wait a minute... I haven't tell you about the drinks and dessert. Drinks selection not much, coffee so-so only. Dessert wise- lotsa delicious cakes and kuih-muih. Fresh cut fruits. I had a few kiwi. What else? You can make your own ABC (Ais Kacang) and scoop dozens of ice cream. BURPZzz!

Oh hey hi... hello.. Can You Keep A Secret?

Not sure if you fancy reading but I am *at times* ... I've just finished reading this book named Can You Keep A Secret written by Sophie Kinsella. Its about a girl name Emma who met a stranger name Jack Harper on the plane. And she told him everything about herself and the story goes on.. I love the story. Emma has a down-to-earth character although she might be "kan cheong" at times. She's lucky to have Lissy as her best friend and Jack Harper really melt my heart..ha! ha! ha! Cannot blame me OK; which girls doesn't like a guy shower her with her fav. things and arrange for a perfect date!

3 weeks after...

It's been 3 weeks after our wedding. Am happy to be in the Yeow family and certainly hope everything will be good. Errr...YES, you can call Tracy :p feels younger mah .. *blueks*

Everything seems to be back to normal now. hak! hak! hak! Normal means work-eat-sleep-work- lah. What else? Nothing to look forward for and the best part is we actually took approx. 1yr to prepare for the wedding and *blink* it only took 1 day to finish the entire celebration. lolz! Not that I want a long wedding lah hello.. penat tau, but its just *blink* and blank. Hmm, its time to think of something or plan for something...meet up with old buddies? baking? cooking? sewing? gardening?

OK back to the wedding. It was great and everybody had fun. Also felt guilty for not having enough time with families and friends. AND ALSO DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO MUNCH THE WEDDING DINNER! Dengz, I should have ask them to pack whatever is for me and Mangkee. Wasted! lolz... Just gotta look pretty and act innocent.. for those who know me for years haha! they know am not the innocent type especially when am wearing the gown!

Would like to thanked everyone for taking part and attending our wedding. Also thanks to my friends who bring us pretty gifts.

Our Delivery of Bethrothal Gifts ("GDL") OR you may call it dowry day, was set on 03.09.2008.Both of us took 2 days off apart from the Merdeka public holidays to prepare the necessary. I went back to my parents house few days earlier to kick starts everything. Dad was the excited one when it comes to packing/wrapping. Don't play play OK~my papa has good skill. We prepared 3 baskets in total. 1st basket was done on 31.08.08.

2nd basket & 3rd basket was done 1 night before the GDL. Dad ordered 2 big "fatt gou" which means super big luck to both family and the newly weds. ha! ha! YES " 8 8 8 8 ". I'm lucky cause dad is not only good in wrapping but also good in buying stuff. See the fruits he bought? Very colourful. Mom on the other hand has a very good cooking skill. Yea, my cooking skill is still far behind hers. Hope to inherit her skill someday...Err.... when am not LAZY lah..ha! ha!ha!

Before Mangkee reaches our place, dad went to take the roast pork from market and Mangkee carry it into the house when he reaches. The pork is HUGE! 65kg tau...But not as heavy as me lah. Aisheh.... Mangkee and his aunty reached our place approx 10am and bring along baskets containing lotsa goodies. After the prayer; we return some of the things from the baskets to Mangkee and dad cut the pork (middle part) and return the head and tail to Mangkee's side.

Mooncake Jelly anyone?

Yummy! Today Calvin of Black Forest Tavern, send me a box of jelly mooncake. Oh wai, it's not too late nor early. Mooncake festival is just 23 days away. Yeap; you got it right. It's the same day with our wedding.

There's 4 flavors in the box which is Coconut Yam , Sago Honeydew, Durian and Red Bean. The mooncake comes in 8 flavors; where the other 2 flavors are Blueberry Cheese and Strawberry Cheese Mooncake. I've tried the Durian & Sago Honeydew jelly, its delicious and the jelly is not too sweet AND it's bouncy too. Boing! Boing! Yum! Yum! I shall try the other 2 flavors tonight...

Me and Mangkee was invited to Jennie's brother (Caleb) wedding today, 16th August 2008. It was the tea ceremony at their parents house. Everybody had fun chatting with the relatives, enjoy the yummy delicious food especially the Yong Tau Fu (cooked by Jennie).

You see lah.. it's 11.10pm now, Mangkee already snoring. So I got nothing better to do..dig dig his pc and found some pictures I took at Perth. jeng! jeng! jeng!

I went to Perth with mom back in September, 2005. It was around spring time if am not mistaken. The weather was cooling and windy. CLEAN AIR! Love it! WOW! It's almost 3years since I've been there. Fast eh! And that was my 1st overseas trip. Me and mom had fun visiting relatives, eating the fresh seafood especially the prawns and shopping.

Hmmm..let's see..its about 30days away from our wedding and NOTHING much has been done yet! muahaha... I wonder why everyone will starts to go on panic mode. So tell me; when did your panic mode was on during your wedding?

When myy mom in-law told me that I gotta bring flowers over on wedding day, Pureseed is the shop I think of. The florist where I order flowers from. I simply love their work and the team are very friendly. I think its worth paying for lovely work done by them. Why I said so? Take a look...

Oh wai; it's been 2months since we moved back to in-laws house. Everything is good; especially when it come to food. You know~ breakfast & dinner is provided. But of cause we do miss the food outside. The furkids are enjoying their life. More space to run around and tea time is provided. Yeah; TEA TIME! CODY is NOT getting any slimmer. Now he walks like an old man! ha! ha! Oreo is on heat. So the lil woman is a cranky coz she has to be in cage most of the time. Tee~hee! I'll come back with more updates... be patients! Eh no food review lah hello~ Wait till the wedding is over ok? Muakssss....

Oh no yeah; it's been a month since I last blogged. Senapang says this blog has fungus and ask me to do review soon. Review on food? I lupa snap pics. on the food I ate recently but can tell you the food is not really happening-lah. I have to jaga my food intake mah.. haiz.. so sien.

As I mentioned 1month ago; am still busy preparing for the wedding day. Started to send out invis; confirmed red wine order; check and check the to-do list; finalize the sitting arrangement & of cause meet up with my ji muis. Sarah actually calculated for me.. she reminded me that i have less than 55days before my wedding. ha! ha! yes; really running outta time not because of the stuff preparation but for the bride-to-be. She belum slim down lah.. tsk! tsk! tsk!

As for the furkids; they are doing good..very happy & healthy and LAZY to come over when I call them. Ish...

And finally ..a lil update abt Mangkee. He's now busy with work and new found hobby.

Oh hello.. it's been a while since I last bla bla here.. hehe~ let's see what have I been doing for the past few weeks.

We were invited by Deron to attend Harrison & Gladys wedding at Kluang. We both had fun and I was honoured to be the emcee for the dinner. 1st time doing it; my hands were shaking and I had cold feet too. 1st part of the speech was bad ; 2nd part was OK. hehe BUT I HAD FUN! wooohoo; thanks again Deron & Gladys for having us there. May the newly weds be bless with babies soon.

Then we head back to KL to have dinner with my mom-in-law :) It was dumpling festival.

After all the celebrations; we started to plan about packing our stuffs. IT was only done 3days before mom-in-law told us she manage to get a lorry to load our stuff.. lolz! ya 3 days before; coz we freaked out when we see so many things. How to pack? What to pack? Where to start? What needs to be throw? All these strike our minds man... Moving house its not a good game. We had nightmare moving from the apartment to PUJ (Puncak Jalil). And now from this PUJ to parents in-law house (Subang, SS14). Wah liao..sweat I telling you. Doggies also move 3times liao; I think they also have phobia liao.. We actually freaked everyone at Subang house cause we have so many things. From toiletries-kitchen-living hall-bed room- work stations. Basically move back 1 house things to another. SO peeps; we are officially living with my parents in-law :) Well; apart from saving traveling time we also save few hundred bucks for food. hahaha.. yeah home cook food from now onwards. It's unpack and arranging stuff time now.. Let's hope everything will be done by end of this week. Sweat.. Then will be busy for wedding stuff. We have approximately 3months before the actual date.. Stay tune for more updates.

Here we want to thanked my lovely mom-in-law for arranging the lorry for us, thanked Mangkee's 6th uncle for helping us, thanked Mangkee's 7th uncle&aunty for lending us the hilux AND big thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Lee for helping us out.

Mangkee was having good mood last weekend. So, he took me to Sea Park for breakfast. Senapang been asking me to review about Restaurant Soo Kee months ago.

So here it is.. Let me introduce you to the best ever Ipoh Hor Fun. Don't need to drive all the way to Ipoh now. hehe... This is my 4th visit here. It's packed during the weekend; not sure how's the crowd on weekdays.

The soup is sweet. By sweet I mean they boil the soup with pork bones and prawn "skeleton". Thats what my mom told me lah if want to have tasty soup... Mangkee is a walking MSG tester. HE will gulp a lot of water if the food has heavy MSG. He didn't ask for more water; so I guess its -MSG. You should try their chicken too. Its good. Check out KY's review on Soo Kee.

We paid RM12 for the meal. Oh yeah; simply delicious! BURPzz!

Next; Hasan's Rojak..mmmm sedap!! We ate this right after Soo Kee. I guess by now you'll figure out why we didn't lose any weight..ha! ha!

I told Mangkee about this kickass rojak. Hassan's rojak is parked outside the mini-market at Sea Park. Walking distance when you come back from Soo Kee. Around 30-40steps lah..Near right?

Fatties last day in Bangkok

This is it; our last day in Bangkok. We woke up early for our breakfast then rest in our room, pack our stuff. Check out at 4pm. Head to the airport. Then check in our bags.

The flight returning to KL was around 720pm. Hence we walked around the airport; oh boy its huge and lotsa things to see NOT BUY! lolz.. Then we head to Mango Tree for our dinner. Allow me to show you the pictures of our food...yummy right?

This trip was fruitful. I heart Bangkok and the guys heart Bangkok too! woohoo; we will return next year! Looking forward for Air Asia 0fare ticket! Oh yeah...

Fatties in Bangkok Day 3

This was our final shopping day at Bangkok.

We went to Chatuchak on Wednesday morning. Yeah; thanks to Precious Pea. She told me the plants market at Chatuchak open on weekday; hence me and the mens went there. Lots off nice plants and I brought some water lily seeds and some other plant seed. Already plant some of it; ehehe let's see if it bloom..Here are some of the pictures I took from the market.

The market is huge. We did walked into the store and lucky us; 1 of the store selling pets stuff was open. Apa lagi? Shop for my furkids; it took me approx 50mins. to get everything for my dogs. Its really cheap there. I brought 2 shirt; 3 collars; 2 toys and 1 leash for RM35. I'll travel on weekend next trip. Woohoo; then I can shop there for whole day. Mangkee & Senapang, please be ready by then. Lolz..

After hours looking at plants; the guys make noise that we should be going to Pratunam already. So we took a cab there. Pratunam is a wholesale market where you can get extremely cheap and nice clothes. The guys predicted I'm gonna walk for long at the market. But they were good; only complain but didn't stop me from walking from shop to shop. We head to Platinum Mall after Pratunam. Fatties in Bangkok Day 2

I'm free today; hence can review about our Day 2 in Bangkok.

I told the guys that they should prepare for a long walked for the 2nd day as we are going to lotsa malls. We had our breakfast at 630am; rest in the room cause the malls open at 10am.

Our 1st mall visit is MBK Center which is really close to the National Stadium BTS station. MBK is similar to our Sg.Wang except for the jeweleries (gold) shop. There's a few of them in the same floor. MBK is also where Sizzler. A western food restaurant serving pork; free flow of salad and bottomless soft drink. Price range is from THB300-THB400. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS!

Total billed for the lunch = THB910.

After eating; we head to a shop where Senapang get his camaro toy car. Then we took Siam BTS and headed to Siam Square. This mall is also similar to Sg. Wang which means they have a lot of store selling bags; clothes and accessories. I would say things are not cheap here maybe its due to the rental. I brought a nice bag from Siam Square for THB420. I guess Mangkee & Senapang was really hoping I'll say let's go back to the hotel.

Too bad; next stop is Siam Paragon. It's just opposite Siam Square. Siam Paragon is a mall selling branded goods and the mall is classy. We rest at Mc'Cafe a classy version of Mc'Donald but aiyah selling same food also lah! Eh wait; they have cheesy fries. Mangkee wallop the whole thing! We planned to have MK steamboat for dinner but it's a lil pricey. So without wasting time; we took a taxi back to the hotel. The guys can finally rest FOR A WHILE! Oh yeah; Suan Lum Bazaar after dinner~

Bangkok aunty's kick ass noodle

This store is where we had the kick ass noodles and it's walking distance from the hotel. Well; at 1st I was really convinced that the food will be good. When the food arrived and I dig in~ pheeewiit~ it's nice and the noodles is different from those we have here. Portion is big and the price is reasonable. Apart from Thai food; they also serve western food. Oh yeah; they serve pork too. Thai chili flakes is HOT and kick ass; your mouth can turn into a sausage within few minutes~ Hmm; maybe Pizzahut & Dominos should try using it?

Oh yeah; we arrived at LCCT approx 750am; had breakfast at Mc'D. Who are the WE? Mangkee; Senapang and meself. Our flight was 1020am and we reached Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok approx 12pm. The airport is huge.

Woraburi is near NANA area. Which means its just walking distance to GoGo bars. Oh yeah; I see a lot of girls and pretty shemale there. As we walked to the Ploen Chit BTS; we passed by JW Marriot and Mc'D was just in front of us. Apa lagi? Makan lah! Samurai pork burger...

The 1st place we went was Ratchadapisek area; the place where we were got lost. We asked the people around to lead us to Robinson. The told us to go "straight straight". After a couple of KM; we reached Suthisan MRT station which is before Ratchadapisek. The 3 of us looked at each other and had a good laugh. Finally decided to ask the ticketing officer to lead us to Poseidon and Suan Lum Bazaar. Yes that is the exact place we wanted to go. Actually not WE but SENAPANG! ha! ha! He's been waiting for it since last year. So yeah; to reach Poseidon is to take MRT to Suthisan then walk "straight straight" for about 5minutes.

Senapang came out around 630pm~then we took the MRT and stopped at Lumphini MRT Station. Oh yeah; Suan Lum Bazaar is at exit 3. Woohoo Shopping time. Actually we were quite smelly at this time liao but who cares. SHOP! SHOP! SHOP!

Suan Lum Bazaar is huge and it is advised to be there around 7pm else you won't finish walking the whole area. This is the place to test your bargaining skill too. The stores sell decorative items; accessories; shirts; bags; pet stuff and lots more.. Of cause like our Petaling Street; if you dont want to buy don't itchy ass go ask lah~ else you'll get fire ha! ha! We managed to get a cute lamp from this market. Won't be showing the pics. of what we brought lah~ cause I've finished distributing them...he! he! he! We took taxi back to the hotel for most nights as we carried lotsa things. Taxi fare is from THB90-THB150.

We rest a while in the hotel after coming back from Suan Lum. Then headed to Nana Entertainment Plaza; walking distance from our hotel. We went into 1 of the Gogo bar; and Senapang buy us drink. Coke THB130/glass. It was a great experience there; lotsa pretty girls only wearing sexy bra and t-back. Oh yeah; I see lotsa "ka cheng (butt)".

Our Registration of Marriage ("ROM")

2nd of April, 2008 was the day when Calvin & Tracy happily said

We thanked Tracy's Mama and Jason (Calvin's best man) for coming to witness our ROM.

Here's a lil story on our ROM. We reached Thean Hou temple around 8am (VERY EARLY) as our ROM time is 9.30am. So Mangkee, Me mama and Me went up for prayers before ROM; guess what? Once we came down to the office area; blackout~ lolz! There's 8 couples on that day itself. The first 3couples who is ahead us gotta wait for like 10minutes before TNB managed to bring back the lights. Yeah; everyone was sweating and we were laughing WHY LAH THIS HAPPEN ON OUR ROM~ akakaka.. And Mangkee busy rehearsing his line with Jason "SAYA SUMPAH SAYA MAU JADI LOU CHAN (I swear I want to join the trapped man club)"

Our numbers was being called both of us went to the counter for the officer to check our details; then yeah we went into the room. We need to signed the certs before swearing. Then raise our right hand up; the officer reads very fast and it was in Mandarin and we giggle when she reads. Then funniest part was when she ask if Mangkee agree to take me as wife (In Mandarin) Mangkee looked at Jason; I looked at Mangkee then laughed. Well then Mangkee took a wild guess and said I do~ lolz.

This place was intro by Lee&Jen; they drove us there to try out this Pan Mee shop at Sri Kembangan - somewhere inside the housing area. The place was crowded and luckily they have a few cooks there.

Pan Mee was good and serving is BIG+CHEAP. I like the vege the put in the Pan Mee; not the "potato" leaf which is use in normal Pan Mee. Let's the a look at the pics shall we? Oh Oh..beside Pan Mee they also serve Japanese Udon.

Rak Thai is currently our fav. hang out place for dinner , located at Mid Valley. IT's located in between the walk from the Gardens to Mid Valley, before big Apple. Prices of the food are reasonable and the food is yummy-licious. Mangkee is currently crazy about the water chestnut dessert; he ate it everytime we had dinner there. Oh yes, you must try their TOM YAM soup..It's clear, less oil and super foodie goodie. Think now they are having promotion, if your order is RM12 and above, you'll get 1 glass of lemon grass water for FREE!

What have we done?

A few of my friends been asking how is the preparations for the big day. ha! ha! Lemme see; both parents met, name list done, invited "chi muis", ROM forms submitted,"Tai Kum Jie (Chaperon)" hired, make up artist hired, selected bridal shop for photoshoot; ordered wedding favour and yeah things for GDL - eh wait, need to check again when date is fixed.

Things I have not do; lose weight (no result YET), ROM (which will be 2nd of April, 2008), choosing gowns for photoshoot (which will be 1st Saturday of April), haven't gotten our GDL date, have not packed our unused stuff, shop for bedroom stuff and more shopping. weehee...more shopping to do...Yippy Yay Yay! And I guess Mangkee will be singing "keep bleeding, keep keep bleeding" lolz! HE will sing this whenever I have shopping spree fever "_"

Kenko Reflexology & Fish Spa

We were at Pavilion to engrave our rings; too bad the machine was not at the outlet. So Mangkee & I thought of doing some fun stuff. We decided to pop by and try on Kenko; as reviewed by Nicolekiss .

Oh mind, it was crowded but we managed to get a place to sit. Then we read about the fishes and OK let's do it. We paid RM38 for 30minutes for the fishes to bite off the dead skin on our feet. Feet only lah not whole body ya. Lolz! Apart from fish biting, they have Reflexology services; click on Nicolekiss for more info.

It was ticklish at 1st and Mangkee was laughing for more than 20minutes. He si-beh shiock lah..said must do often "_" I told him if the fishes KO after we left means his leg is very very poisonous ha! ha! ha!

Moreover, gallstones may lead to cancer. "Cancer is never the first illness," Chiu Nan points out. "Usually, there are a lot of other problems leading to cancer.

In my research in China, I came across some materials which say that people with cancer usually have stones. We all have gallstones. It's a matter of big or small, many or few.

One of the symptoms of gallstones is a feeling of bloatedness after a heavy meal. You feel like you can't digest the food. If it gets more serious, you feel pain in the liver area." So if you think you have gallstones, Chiu Nan offers the following method to remove them naturally.

The treatment is also good for those with a weak liver, because the liver and gallbladder are closely linked.

Regimen:

1. For the first five days, take four glasses of apple juice every day. Or eat four or five apples, whichever you prefer. Apple juice softens the gallstones. During the five days, eat normally.

2. On the sixth day, take no dinner.
3. At 6 PM, take a teaspoon of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) with a glass of warm water.
4. At 8 PM, repeat the same. Magnesium sulphate opens the gallbladder ducts.
5. At 10 PM, take half cup olive oil (or sesame oil) with half cup fresh lemon juice. Mix it well
and drink it. The oil lubricates the stones to ease their passage.
-PS. 1cup=250ml, ½ cup lemon juice=3 lemons (aprox.)

The next morning, you will find green stones in your stools. "Usually they float," Chiu Nan notes. "You might want to count them. I have had people who passes 40, 50 or up to 100 stones. Very many."

"Even if you don't have any symptoms of gallstones, you still might have some. It's always good to give your gall bladder a clean-up now and then.

It's been a while since I update my blog about food. lolz. We ate at Little Italy Restaurant in November 2007, they are located at Puchong Jaya. Cosy environment; the place was quiet when we were there. Good for those who likes to romantic a bit..a bit only ok~ akakaka anyway back to the Little Italy, food serving was quite big and customer service was good, FOOD = OK for me..can be better, prices are affordable. Rat-A-Tat-Tat....So how was your Rat year so far? Mine was not too bad except for coughing and flu-ing since the 1st day of CNY~ Boring right? Eat BBQ meat also no taste leh..anyway, I enjoyed the visiting and gathering very much. Family bonding mah... somemore somemore last year collecting Ang Pao~ ha! ha! ha! As for the food, my mom's cooking is still the best. Didn't eat much snacks coz I was sick. No wait.. I am still sick now! Rat ah Rat ... faster bring all the germs away from me can or not?

Mangkee's mom, his grandma and MANGKEE came to proposed to my parents about our wedding. Here, I would like to thanked Deron & Gladys for sending me the Delivery of Bethrothal Gifts ("Guo Dai Lai") list, weeks before the proposal. Thank you so so much...muaks! Well, we reserved a room at Emperor Garden Restaurant, Gold Hill Club. Wakaka..Hey, am impress with the place and food was superb even though is a lil pricey. Ok nuff' bout the food..lolz!

Pheww, we're glad our parents wants a simple wedding ceremony. HOW SIMPLE? Good question..read my blog every now and then....akakakak!

Next step.... can some of you share your diet plan with me? lolz.. Trying to shed of tonnes of kilos before the photoshoot... and also; ya I want to be a pretty bride mah! :p

Well, a few friends been asking me how did Mangkee proposed. Actually, we bought the ring before hand. He went to collect it alone - telling me that he has to do over time in the office hence I gotta wait for him at my mom's place. So at night he kept laughing, nose 'kembang', eyes goes much 'sepet' and then I just know something is not right. He start telling me the ring receipt went MIA bla bla bla. So there; his secret turn out to be a joke..and he wear the ring for me~ Then ahem... I accept his proposal-lor.

I've just finished watching this Taiwan drama called "惡魔在身邊 / Er Mo Zai Shen Bian" - Devil Beside you (err yes, I don't write/read Chinese but I understand the language). To me, the story is good and the young actors are really talented, cute, pretty and handsome. ha! ha! ha! Mangkee always caught me wiping my tears when am watching Taiwan/Korean drama.. Eh but this is good lah! I will re-watch soon!

IT's the date of the year where we celebrate two birthday together. Yes, you're right.. The Dad & Dog birthday falls on the same date~ ha! ha! ha! What I did for them? Well; the dad had a BBQ celebration on 1/12/07. Celebrated in advanced coz Mangkee's birthday is today. Thanks to the Lees and Sarah for helping me to prepare everything. The food was awesome. Again, thanks to everyone for cleaning up the place before the cake time and the rummy game.

As for the son, he had cake with whipped cream with his other siblings..Oreo & Hobbes.

Got to know about Calvin (baker) from the internet. A lot of cakes to choose actually but me boss decided to send something special to a friend. Hence this is what we ordered. Cheesecake with some naughty stuff (made of chocolate)...ha! ha! Not bad eh~ Every part of this cake is edible.. huahuahaua!

OK OK...someone gonna say storm is coming if I don't stop singning. ha! ha! Anyway; we're not eating the lemon-tree nor the lemons..but we were at Shangri-La, KL for the lunch buffet at Lemon Garden - to celebrate our lovely Aunt Lucy birthday in advance.

Me mama+mangkee+me was the earliest to reached before the rest. 14 of us... The buffet starts at 12pm-4pm; and I would suggest you to go on weekdays. I telling you the weekend crowd is crazee. I think there's shortage of staff on that day...Hence it take times for them to clear our plates...ha! ha! Yalah; we makan from 12pm-4pm ok! Don't main-main..akakakaka....

They served international food- Chinese; Indian; Malay; Fine dining; fresh seafoods (cold); salad corner and colourful dessert. Seafood - I only tried out the crab and prawns. The rest looks fresh too. Else people won't Q-up for the oyster and hantam everything within 5minutes. Overall the food was good! But if you're a dessert person; you're gonna love this place. Imagine running slow motion into dessert island; fondue fruits on yr right hand; cheesecakes in yr mouth; and mango pudding on yr left hand. wahahahah...shiok gila!

Cody been having the tears problem for quite some time. The eyes liquid which I bought for him doesn't work and my parents been complaining Cody is very smelly. Then finally I get to know about Health N Shine from this pets forum. After considering and reading the feedbacks I think it's worth a try; hence I message the seller. His product knowledge is excellent and he taught me how to use it. Ordered last Friday and I got it today from Pos Laju.

My nephew always tell us "wa si Hokkien kia; wa ai chiak Hokkien Mee" -
which mean I'm a Hokkien boy, I want to eat Hokkien Mee.

Oh anyway, we've passed by this 'tai chau' -Damansara Hokkien Mee Restaurant few times and finally decided to give it a try . haha layman term; woi a lot of people eating there...food must be good. This place is located in Damansara Utama few rows away from the Sate Kajang we had previously. Customer service was good. Once your butt touch the stool, they'll come together with their menu and food come quite fast (not sure if their service is this fast when it's crowded). Prices ok-lah; RM5 / person. Apart from noodles; they have some side dishes like vege, fried food and ya a stall selling roasted duck. Didn't try it cause only mangkee and I ate..Hokkien Mee was acceptable but they should have put in more vege, Cantonese 'Yin Yong' - mee hoon over fried hence was "hard" ; tasted OK and 'Loh Mee' - I didn't order less mee, was more like vege soup; not the best 'Loh Mee' I ever had thou..

Mangkee actually planned to go swimming on Saturday but we couldn't find the club locker keys hence we did something else.

We went out around 930am with the Lees' and Sarah. 1st stopped; Jalan Imbi .. Ah Weng Hailam Tea. They are located inside Imbi market itself. We've been there for breakfast since 4yrs ago and I guess this place is abt 35yrs old? Hailam Tea, toast bread (kaya+butter) and half-boil egg are the favourite orders. Thou it's a typical Chinese breakfast but believe me.. lotsa youngster eat there nowadays. It is pack almost everyday and guess what? When Ah Weng (the boss) decide to close for business he will close it for a least 4days. Oh ya, they also have a branch in Great Eastern Mall.

Been busy assisting the organizer for the seminar which was held at yesterday. I got the instructions a month ago. What I did? Hmmm... update the bosses from time to time; create invitation cards and folders; compiling guest names which I received from others. To be honest, I am pretty satisfy with the outcome of the printed cards and folders. ha! ha! Sorry lah don't mean to kembang hidung but 1st time seeing my work is printed out ... hua! hua! hua! I was there early and managed to snap some pics before the event started...

How was your holidays?! Mine was good....Let's recapped what I did.. Saturday: bath the dogs; gardening; check on my guppies; house cleaning; food; went back to Calvin house celebrated Hari Raya with kakak and then went to visit a friend of mine at her work place. Sunday? Went back to moms ..drove her out to 1U with my aunt. AND I THOUGHT the mall gonna be empty as most of the people will go on holidays/back to hometown. I was wrong-lah; so many cars and it took me 20minutes to get a parking at B2. While I was busy parking my car; mangkee called "B; my car keys is with U". Then I parked aside and check; nothing wor! I have the habit of throwing things into my bag; dig dig dig...oops; Eh keys with me! HOW? ha! ha! You jalan balik your parents house? Lucky and Thanks to my sis..they were at home and her hubby sent him home! A BIG THANKS TO Lee.

As for the yesterday..went to pick mangkee and balik rumah. I've been complaining to him the backyard look like a jungle..the grass is as tall as him. What he do? Open the window; see see then laugh lah. My dad brought some diesel and I poured it on the grass. Hope it die lah! What else I did? Ya laze around and went out to shop for my shoes lor. End of holidays..sigh get back to work-lah..

WTf!?!? Blame me for what? The last I used this road to work was in Fred car. The jam was this bad also wut!

So, what does this gotta do with me? You're saying I cause the jam!? Now shaddap; Mix-FM Priscilla Patrick announcing traffic d..talk talk talk...and we heard a Lorry OVERTURNED at Sunway and this caused the jam! See; not me lah..It's the LORRY!

Slept around 3am and woke up 11am today. As usual; I went down to clean the dogs ; set them free while I watered my plants + checked on my guppies. I killed 9 out of 10...Mom scooped some for me again and hope they'll survive. nah nah nah..don't curse me ha! I have no idea why they died-ed...Geezz.. Didn't know gardening can be so interesting. You see; few weeks back 1 of my plant look awful ha! ha! I tot it died-ed..I changed the soil and it look OK and flower bloomed. Happy =) Will show you guys my pots soon ...

Don't have a punching bag in the office; so have to write my anger here!!!

Well; friends known me as a talkative and easy going person. True; that I no longer hang out with them often like we used to but that doesn't mean I don't like them or I have problem. I'm more than happy that we can chat in msn everyday. Now that I have my own planning of cause I would have to save more $. Believe me, when you come to a stage on how much to spend on wedding, house, kids and their future! You will have lil time to enjoy. You can say I think too much; just it let flow & bla bla bla..I am not from a RICH family; I too have to think for my parents! Being the eldest in the family holding a SPM cert is not EASY!! Now tell me; after seeing what I list down; do you think I still dare to go out "yum sing" every weekend?!? Message me if you need to know more of my worries!!

A few close friends of mine also said I have changed! so now I'M FUCKING TELLING YOU GUYS; YES THINGS CHANGE..so be it!! Thank you for inviting me for the outings and my apologies for not being able to attend!

Me boss came back from lunch with 8 "Chan Bao". 2 for each of us...sayang us leh! huahuahaua! At 1st I thought it's Luncheon Meat Bun but it's actually bigger version of Seremban "Siew Bao". But it's bun lah..Huahua..actually neh, I had my lunch already but tempted-lah (how to go THIN/SLIM/FIT you tell me lah) huahauahua....

Before the "Chan Bao" go inside my tummy... yummy! yummy!

MmmMmmmMmm...it's delicious. The texture is soft and the "inti" is just nice..sedap I telling you. Sorry ha..I don't know where he bought it. BURPZ!!! ooops...excuse me =)

Porkie noodles @ Restaurant Hong Cha

Hmmmh...me lazy to cook yesterday so we ate Pork Noodles @ Hong Cha. This shop is located in Old Klang Road behind Steven Corner. They are close every Wednesday. Not ample parking though...especially when it comes to Thursday pasar malam.

Right; let's talk about Hong Cha. Apart from porkie noodles they served tom yam noodles; seafood noodles; porridge (err, it's not the watery type ha.it's like eating rice, am ok with it..not sure about you) and Japanese food too. I tried their Jap; not too bad. See the menu? Drooling? Pengsan? ha! ha! Well, if you're an intestine lover then you gonna enjoy your noodles very much. Senapang; you should try!

I normally order mine without the white sotong.. I don't like it in soup; if fry then 10plates also nebermind-ah! huahuahaua... Mangkee likes his noodles with minced pork only. Big one somoremore. I wonder why he can telan so many food when we eat outside. When I cook hor, nabeh..eat 1 bowl of rice also full already. Eh; your man/woman act like this or not? Not I wanna complain lah but hor ridiculous leh! Does that mean my cooking sucks or not enough MSG? huahauahuaa. Anyway; his appetizer will be the "tao foo faa". It's not from the restaurant but from a mini-lorry.

My foodie goodie rate: 6/10

See the porkie noodles? Yummy leh..huahuahau.. actually I find it not so good compare to the the many times I ate. Maybe too much business that's why quality drop. Lucky portion still the same. Oh ya; we paid RM12 for noodles+2 drinks.

Hari Raya is around the corner. Have you guys order any hampers yet? ha! ha! Kalau not yet, you can consider ordering from a friend of mine..This is the 2nd time I ordered from her. What I do is; I some ideas what to put in the hampers. You know lah.. nowadays people tend to put unknown food brand in the hamper and some will still wrap it "high-high". Know which type or not? neh..the based is plastic basket then hor..you build your own gunung-lah and use tape to wrap the food.

This year, I've chosen a theme for the hampers; it's called Traditional hamper. So whats in the hamper? There's chocs; kurma, serunding daging, dodol, raisins, davidoff coffee, sparkling juice and cookies. I like the way she make the hamper not much decorating and the basket is cool. It's worth the price RM275/basket... I love it!

This shop is our regular place for breakfast. They open 8am daily and if am not mistaken they are close on Thursday.

It was very jam at Jalan Klang Lama; so mangkee asked if want to stop for breakfast. Then ok-loh! Lucky me~ I bring my camera along and snapped the foodie goodie for you guys =) Apart from roast chicken, they sell "char siew", "siew yoke" , intestines and roast duck~ their rice smells good and chicken is fresh too. intestines? Err..belum try before. Tasted their duck once er..not so good.. . Still prefer "4 ngan chai" =) Sin Thin Wah prices are reasonable.. we paid RM10.40 for chicken+"siew yoke" AND chicken+"char siew" PLUS a cup of chinese tea. Why I rate them 8/10? BECAUSE they open at 8am..ha! ha! ha and I can taste fresh chicken and the rice is yummy. Not sure about you, but I once eaten a chicken rice where there's a strange smell from the chicken. Tak boleh tahan-lah.. and they charged RM5.40 for a normal chicken rice!! For me..the important thing to judge in a chicken rice is the NASI also the fresh-ness of the chicken. If the chicken not fresh how to eat lah dude....

...I forgot to pay duty, says politician....

ALOR STAR: “Oops, I forgot.”

This is the excuse given by one of the prominent politicians who have flouted Customs regulations by using a duty-free Nissan van on the mainland without paying duties.

“A Customs officer did remind me sometime this year to settle the duty by end of this year but I forgot. Thank you for reminding me,” said the politician when contacted yesterday.

The politician took the duty-free van from Langkawi about nine years ago. He said the van was actually used by the spouse for commercial purposes. The van needed to be overhauled several years ago and was sent to the workshop for repairs.

“However, many of the car parts were stolen and as such we had left it in the workshop for years,” she said.

The politician promised to send a letter to the Customs department soon to resolve the matter amicably.

“I will pay the duty,” he said.

Another prominent politician who was implicated said he had submitted a letter to the Customs director-general stating his intention of paying duty and keeping the duty-free Harley Davidson.

It was reported in The Star on Monday that two prominent politicians were among several VVIPs who have yet to pay duty after the vehicles were taken out of the duty-free island.

They are among the 79 people who have breached Clause 21 (1) of the Customs Duty Order (Exemption) 1988 by keeping vehicles away from the duty-free island for more than a month in a year.

Hobbes's cut look like mat-rock type while Cody's kinda lady. Aiya; don't blame me for not keeping their furs as they hinted to me that it's hot nowadays so I make a decision for them lah..I think they will look just nice by Chinese New Year. What do U think?

IT was a rainy Sunday when we drove to Mangkee's house at SS14. We decided to pit stop at Restaurant Wong Soon Kee, SS14 to "tapao" our late lunch at Lim Fried Chicken. 1st time for me though.. OMG the Q si-beh long and it's only selling Fried Chick, Nasi Lemak and Curry Chee Cheong Fun. Mangkee gave up Q-ing up but I told him I'll Q instead. As am Q-ing up for the food, I "kay poh-ly" snapped some pics to update in the blog. HuaaWaaa.. I telling you ah.. people behind me must have thought something wrong with me. Anyway, enjoy the pics. Err..forgot to ask about their biz operation day but they starts to sell during lunch hour. Besides Lim Fried Chicken, there's Wan Tan Mee, Beef noodles, Char Kuey Teow, Yee Mee & Pan Mee. According to SS14 resident, Mr. Mangkee "Pan Mee not so nice, Yee Mee ok-lah, Char Kuey Teow ok-ok, Lim Fried Chicken, Wan Tan Mee (see told you guys oredi, he sure said this one da bomb, favourite mah hahaha) & Beef noodles da bomb"

Nice environment (can be noisy if its pack-I guess), sate was good and good customer service (not sure how they served on weekend-when it's pack). The price was reasonable.. This is my boy Coda... Ain't he cute? He is 3yrs 2months now... Initially, I wanted to bring him to stay with me when I moved out from my parents. BUT my sis wanted to keep him as a guard dog. Well, I gotta admit he's good in this. The moment he sense stranger ; he will bark as loud as he can. He's alert but sometimes might be false alarm lah. He don't like cats and 1 stray dog near my house. he! he!

Not sure where Coda learns how to tell us when he's hungry, but he just will. Yes, he's also greedy boy~he likes KFC~ I used to give him 1pc but not anymore. Now he will just come to us whenever we have food on our hand. He skip taking dog food for 1yr but thank god he changed his mind last year. Well..with one requirement, must have fresh milk in the food. Else he will sniff and walk off.

Coda has to keep his fur short too. Why? Because mama said so. Gotta let him know in advance before I botak him, else he will show face. See the pic? Don't know where he learn the mulut senget pose. ha! ha! But sometimes he will give signal that he's very hot and want to be botak-ed. Well that's all about my boy..

I woke up 8am to watched our 50th Merdeka parade on TV, then I buzzed my parents "eh pa wanna go eat breakfast ah" Pa said "come-lah" Then go wake mangkee lor..abuthen.. me+mangkee went to pick them then headed to KL. 1st stopped (no pic) was at Overseas Restaurant, Jalan Imbi. I thought they served Dim Sum but takda wor..so we ate noodles, 1/4 roast duck, char siew & vege.. Food was delicious but portion small leh.

Mangkee paid: RM111.50. My foodie goodie rate : 6/10

Petaling Street..Koon Kee Wan Tan Mee. This shop has been operating more than 50yrs. Koon Kee was the founder and R.I.P already. Now his son takes over the shop. Mangkee had double wan tan mee cause its his all time favourite. He can eat that for breakfast-lunch-dinner-supper. So ah..if you thinking what to buy for his birthday jeng! jeng! jeng! the answer is ? WAN TAN MEE wakakakaka... Thumbs up for their chicken feet, wan tan & "sui gau".I telling you..must go try. Oh ya, me mama said their char siew is good too. Mmmm..who wanna join me for my 2nd visit? Me papa paid for the meal was RM33.

Last stopped was "sei-ngan-chai" (4-eyed guy) roast duck. We "tapao-ed". This is a must try if you're a duck lover.. the duck meat was tender & juicy..yummy! yummy! According to me mama, years back there were few stalls at the same area selling roast duck and in the end all close shop because the crowd preferred "sei-ngan-chai". RM38/duck & RM19 for 1/2 duck.

What you gonna do tonight? It’s a long weekend….

Friends been asking me "any plan for Merdeka Eve?".... Well frankly, during my teenage time I will be planning to go down town/somewhere to see fireworks. But that kinda spirit is no longer in me. Why? The parking rates is expensive (unless you park tepi jalan-lah), very crowded & freaking jam to go anywhere. Talk about jam, fug the road closure in KL starts 6pm today. Am sure everyone gonna get pissed..I hope you won’t get stuck in the jam. IF you are, Good Luck and Have Fun screaming in your car. Ha! Ha! Ha!

Oh well, I will be at home, grab some snacks and get ready to rumble with my DVDs collection. The next day, am gonna find my mama for breakfast and bring her out for the day.

TOKYO (Reuters) - A plane belonging to Taiwan's China Airlines Ltd. exploded and caught fire soon after landing on Japan's southern island of Okinawa on Monday, but officials said all 165 people on board had escaped safely.

The Boeing 737-800 plane, which had just arrived from Taipei, was already being evacuated when the left engine exploded, ripping the plane apart, officials and witnesses said.

"I saw several passengers evacuate from the plane using a chute. After a minute or so, I heard the sound of an explosion. It was a big explosion," said Tadahiro Hasuo, who told NHK he felt the heat of the blast while passing the airport in a taxi.

The charred remains of the plane lay broken on the tarmac near the terminal after the flames were extinguished, an hour after the explosion.

The nose of the plane sagged on its side, while the tail -- emblazoned with the airline's pink plum blossom symbol -- was intact at the other end.

In between, the blackened remains of the interior could be seen, with much of the roof of the plane gone.

Early investigations raised the possibility that leaking fuel may have caught fire.

"We don't have any information that suggests the accident was linked to terrorism. There is a possibility of the engine exploding and catching fire due to a fuel leak," a Naha airport police official told Reuters.

One member of the ground crew had been injured, Kyodo news agency reported.

The airline said the plane, which had 157 passengers and eight crew, had just undergone scheduled maintenance.

"Everything was working according to normal procedure. There was nothing wrong during the flight," China Airlines spokesman Johnson Sun told reporters.

China Airlines has a troubled safety record with four deadly accidents in the past 13 years, including a crash in the Japanese city of Nagoya in 1994 in which 264 people were killed.

Okinawa is a popular spot for beach holidays and the number of visitors to Japan from other parts of Asia has increased in recent years, with the lifting of visa restrictions.

I'm picky when it comes to hairstylist. It kinda freak me if the hairstylist only concentrate on the hair but no PR skill. I don't want autobot cutting my hair, ha! ha! ha! Basically I've tried quite a few before I met Des in year 2001. That time, he was just working in a shop but now he has a shop at Bandar Menjalara, Kepong. He work alone so gotta call and make appointment, else you'll end up sleeping there especially weekend. So everyone. this is the place I've been restyling my hair since 2001.Why have I been so loyal? Because his PR skill is good, styling is perfect (for me) and environment is cozy. Other than hairstylist job, Des also do make-up & some flower art work. Oh ya, his charges are almost same like other hair salon.

I still remember Boon Tat was located in a wooden house before they moved to the current nice place (its just opposite the old one). Thou their food is quite pricey but its worth what we paid for. sooper dooper delicious if you love chilies. Actually, that's the main purpose we went there, for fresh and hot seafood. Guess, they have different style cooking the seafood too. 9 of us and the bill was RM390. Approx RM40/pax...I'll suggest you go in a group of 10 to share the cost..

Hmmph... decided to write something before I meet up with the girls..

I was a week late reporting myself to Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Perempuan Bt. Road (2). Why? Because my parents had a tough decision where to placed me. He! He! I ended up in a co-ed school opposite Stadium Negara. I was there for 1 day then my aunty finally got my registered to SRKP Bt. Road (2). I was placed in classroom 1R and the class teacher was Mrs. Lim. Lucky me as I'm in the same class with 20+ cheerful girls and now all grown up to be very successful and pretty. We were all in the same class until standard 6. Not forgetting the good and bad times we went through together.. e.g the nicknames we gave each other, the way we make joked of our teachers and how much we love them, the crushed we had on the male trainee teachers, the way we fought with the class B students, Hari Kanak-Kanak, birthday celebrations, Hari anugerah, teachers day, the chalk punishment, the days our fishes died, the days our favorite teacher retired, the trips we went together (I only joined a few) and the games we used to play everyday - Galah Panjang, Lompat Tali, Congkak...Add up: the ninja teacher who liked to whacked us with blackboard eraser, make us stand on the chair and lift our hands up for long.. all above are really precious moments we can't buy anywhere.. agree with me? Ladies, do let me know if you have anything to add on as this is our write up.. hugs...

Recently a few of us managed to contact each other and decided to come out for a gathering on 3rd August, 2007 at The Curve. I must admit their menu will makes you want everything...ha! ha! So my advise is, gather your friends (approx 10pax) so you'll get to try most of their dishes. Don't get me wrong, me not carnivore. Did orderED vege but they served me the wrong thing and didn't bother/too busy to get the right one for me!!!

Hey, moolah, it's RM OR USD? Oh well, I'll just take it as RM. First, put in RM280K as Fixed Deposit. From there, I'll actually have some extra monies every month. Well, as we all know accidents is a daily dosage on the road & then the peanut butter jam starts. Then we will starts to slow down & '8'- how many cars involve lah, serious or not lah, handsome/pretty or not lah (owner), car brand lah.. and jeng! Jeng! Jeng! I think most of us will look at the car plate number. Now, what the heck does this gotta do with us? Actually, ACCIDENT LOOKERS (a.L) are the peanut butter jam cause-er. Don’t y’all agree with me? SO we should start putting our shoes on and think, what if the accidents are serious and they are actually waiting for the ambulance/police to come..it's slowing down the whole process..

As always, Saturday while I was fliping the newspaper..saw this very interesting article~ introducing a balinese type of restaurant..so we decided to give it....

When we 1st arrived..hua~hua! waaa..si beh sui ah .. awesome reno and deco...then we waited for 20mins to get a table (the arrangement was terrible). boh song liao lor...We were ushered to this to that corner. Akhirnya, sat at the corner where we gotta feed the mosquitoes, extra 15mins for them to come to our table to take order, extra 20mins for the order to arrived. While waiting, we noticed the diners in front of us was waiting for his spoon (5mins+) . Nasi sampai..makan ngan tangan?!?!? It was raining and they didn't bother to cover the food before sending to us. Then it took them blardy long to send us the drink and 20mins later food sampai. Chick chop + rain drops, without cutleries. Then we summon the waiter to bring us that, 1 joker brought us the butter-jam knife. #*)@(# how to cut the chick chop? Wonderful? And then, my friend meal tak sampai. So my guy and I went over to talked to the PR guy. complaints complaints..bla bla.. and he jawab back: sorry sir, actually they put up the ad without telling us. Ha! ha! ha! *^&%$#@# Does that mean they didn't expect the crowd on weekend? Common-lah! Agong's birthday + school holidays.. u expect few kuchi miao to dine in? My guy & friend went to paid bills, the waiter came to our table to confirmed the order..as he read on~So now, yang tak datang is this-that? my friend told him, we didn't even order this-that.. he then told us 1 of the meal was not keyed into their system! @!#@##@# Patut-lah tak datang. In the end, we were given 10% discount and also 5% service tax was waived

not a fan of football but as i count the times.. it's almost 1 matched already.... sweat....
